By the way since there is no official discussion channel… we had to introduce a temporary hard fork to lower the number of nodes. You can see it on GitHub. Because you or some other nodes were constantly missing blocks making it hard to reach a consensus (this is mostly due to the low peers count). After syncing back so in few days we will again increase the number of witnesses.

Yes everything in the scope of the proposal was meant to be open source. All the dapps are made with vuejs and share the same architecture so if you are familiar with vue it will be easy to continue to develop them.

Definitely not hopeless. The problem is that you were trying to sync with the network while being in development mode and without emptying your db. From your logs I can see that you replayed a certain number of blocks already. The low peer count is just a warning (it’s a discovery function for active witnesses). The port I gave you will work if you make sure to first delete your db.
The issue is that you might be missing mongosh so the npm run reset script is not working.
Please just make sure that you have emptied you db, so the last block is 0 before your very first sync and that you are in production mode. Then you won’t have issues anymore. You can add REPLAY_OUTPUT=100 to your .env to have more logs about your replay.

Edit: nevermind the node that I gave you was stuck for some reason. You may want to try again a bit later since it is now replaying. I’ll give more peers addresses soon.

Ok first empty your db (npm run reset) then change your NODE_ENV to production and use ws://23.94.30.150:6001 as one of your peers, then just run npm run start ✌️ if you don’t want to replay the whole history you can simply do npm run restore after your reset too.
Edit your problem was probably about the node_env set to development

Did you manage to run your node? You must publish your public key using the witness_register contract.

To create tokens you must pay with ECH tokens, no STEEM are required to use the sidechain transactions.

Those values can be changed with a softfork, using the history records and only requiring a restart (if all witnesses decides to do so).

Well we were working on a global united login system that allow steem keys, keychain and steemlogin, you can find it here: https://github.com/FutureShockco/steem-auth-vue (this is the component currently being used on the dex, nft and explorer)
It permit to handle multiple accounts with different login system in a single module. There is also a version for react based apps. Since we won't be continuining it feel free to fork and improve the project by adding your mobile app feature.

In long term, this project is much more suitable for a steem mobile wallet that handle transactions than any version of keychain. It use react native and expo, meaning it can be deployed easily on appstore and playstore, it is well structured and already contains most of what is needed. Feel free to check it.

Project is not abandoned. It will be delivered as promised. I have also noticed that you tried to use the dex but you must be aware that in its current state the test network use the steem test network. So deposits must be made on the steem testnet run by moecki to be taken into count.

Sure you can use the v2 branch to run your own MeeRay node. You will need mongodb. Then simply clone, install and run then visit localhost:3001/mine to start mining. The dex and nft apps are not yet publicly available but will be soon. However you can use the tests scripts to send transactions. Transactions and endpoints should be fully documented. And you can DM me for any questions, Ill be happy to assist.

Huge props for setting this up — it takes some motivation to do it. Now that we have an entire alternate reality for Steem, all devs can plays the mad scientists and experiment without spamming the mainnet.

Poloniex is a well known exchange, and they are not responsible of any transaction made by your account to their platform.

Nobody can make a transaction using your account. So from what I understand:

• someone made a transfer from your account to the poloniex platform.

First I don't understand why you are insulting us but let put that aside and consider that you were angry because of what happened. You should say at least that you are sorry.

Second your account probably got hacked:

• the only possible reason is that you gave your keys to someone else, either by directly giving your keys or by using a phishing link that stole your keys.

Do you remember any website where you have entered your steem keys? If so please let us know then we can try to make a post about it to prevent further hacks.

So nor us nor poloniex are responsible for this.
What we can suggest you is first to change the keys of your account. Second try to contact poloniex using their support : https://support.poloniex.com/hc/en-us and explain them calmly what happened, they might help you to find who did it and maybe block the account who stole your funds.

Finaly be careful when you are using your keys on any other platform that doesnt use steemlogin or keychain. (Except steemit.com of course). And of course you should change your keys right now!
